All water bodies surrounding Brazzaville are suitable for diverse activities. With a length of 4.700 Km, it is the second longest river in the world after the Amazon, with its flow of 80 832 m3. As such, it offers a diversity of business opportunities. River Congo therefore has one of the world’s greatest hydro-electric potentials. Hydro-electricity being the main available source of energy, hydropower plants have been erected in mining regions and near big urban cities.
