The network of hotels has been changing and growing in Brazzaville. Hotels have been modernized and developed for all different classes of luxury, including a range of five star hotels. In Brazzaville, Ledger ex Meridien, the Olympic Palace Hotel, the Michael hotel, the Leo Hotel, Hotel Sapphire, and the Marina Residence are some of few luxury hotels all of which offer air-conditioned rooms. Entrepreneurs have begun to create smaller small hotels offering ten to thirty-rooms, including the Phoenix Mercury and Exaunel hotels, with some air conditioning. Many similar small hotels have been created in neighborhoods and downtown.

Beware of Peak Periods

Today, Brazzaville has the services and capacity to support a balanced flow of visitor arrivals. Nevertheless, in peak periods, such as during Fespam or large international meetings, it is essential that visitors ensure that they have reserved accommodation before leaving for Congo.
